Tom was born and bred in Alberta. He discovered his passion for business and his entrepreneurial bent at an early age. This spurred Tom to get further equipped so he completed business in college.
Tom has enjoyed playing a senior manager/executive role for over 20 years. He has been requested to take on more and more authority and responsibility, expanding and growing the different businesses in which he was involved.
Prior to joining Sunbelt, Tom spent 12 years in the Heavy Industrial Construction and Maintenance Industries expanding the geographic reach of the businesses across North America as well as developing new services for existing markets. Transitioning in to the Oilfield, Tom was a leader in the North for a publicly traded growth oriented company whose strategy was to grow organically and by acquisition. Tom’s thorough understanding of the Western Canadian economy is further complimented by high level hands on leadership in the retail, institutional and environmental services market segments.
As a seasoned professional, Tom draws upon his years of successfully growing and running businesses in varied industries to facilitate win/win situations for both sellers and buyers. This comprehensive experience and understanding enables Tom to help buyers make their plans realities.
Tom is married to Barb and they are the proud parents of three children. In his free time Tom enjoys playing hockey, snowmobiling, skiing and is involved in a number of charitable organizations.
